My name is Abby Sutfin. I am a professional barrel race producer, Sutfin Performance Horses, and a professional barrel racer. I am fortunate enough to use NextGen as both. NextGen’s efficiency has advanced my races tremendously! It saves me so much time; I can focus on the details of the races and not computer entry. Another thing I love is that all the info I need to announce is right there in front of me, I do not have to jump from screen to screen, along with all the reports. I am forever grateful for the extreme lengths the NG crew is willing to go to help with any questions or concerns I may have. They are fantastic at what they do! NextGen is designed by contestants, and it shows the extreme amount of detail this App has for contestants. I love that I can enter from anywhere on my phone. I can then go back and see what my draw numbers are, also showing where I am standing after my runs with the live updates. NextGen takes the guessing out of competing. NextGen is filling a void we have had in the sport of rodeo.

In 2023 we decided to use Next Gen for our entries and webcast. The entry program is user-friendly, and well organized. It can accommodate multiple classes, side pots and carryovers. Their payoff system is very accurate and results are completed quickly using the system. When producing the futurity, in the past, I had to generate myself the information for the program which included the horses registered name, age, sire, dam, owner and rider, with NextGen there was a page that had all that information for me, all I had to do was print it. They also have made it very easy to submit results to the various Organizations that need them. The online entry process for contestants is also very simple. And for people that were having difficulty when they called NextGen customer service, every person told me how pleased they were and how helpful the staff were in walking them through the process. They did an excellent job with our webcast. I didn’t have to worry about any of those details. They just handled it. Using NextGen was so beneficial and it saved me so much time on things. I felt it helped our event to run more smoothly and quickly. I highly recommend them, all the members of their staff are knowledgeable and very helpful.
